I first want to thank Karen for allowing me the opportunity to join this wonderful group. I have been a DT Member since February of 2011 and I have to say, it's been the most enjoyable thing.  I also want to thank the other lovely ladies that make up the best DT Team ever :) Everyone has been so kind and friendly and it's becoming like a second family for me. Welcome to YNS' 2nd Birthday Blog Hop, we are so happy you are here celebrating with us and our wonderful guest designers! If you have just stumbled across my blog, and want to join in all the fun and games, you can go to the start at Peggy's blog.  If you have been hopping along and are arriving from Wendy's blog then you are right on track!

What is a birthday party with out games and some AMAZING prizes? Well we have a fun little puzzle for you to solve along the hop and when you do you will be entered into the draw for one of TWO amazing YNS prizes!  Not everyone has a puzzle piece so you need to pay attention, and click on the puzzle pieces, and follow the directions as you find them along the way. [3rd party cookies must be enabled to do the puzzle] When you are done put them all together at the end of the hop for your chance to win!  You have until Monday, August 15th at Midnight EST.

The cards I created for today are using the NEW World Kid's Dutch Boy Stamp. He is oh so adorable! 

Holland and the Dutch are famous for there windmills, so I compensated with a pinwheel lol. I used my TCP's Pinwheel die which was easy peasy :)

I added some sewing and rhinestones for a special touch.

Once I looked over this adorbale stamp I thought of all the possibilities he held. I could definitely see him as a farmer too...So I created a Dutch Boy farmer as well lol.  I love how this turned out.

I added a tractor charm, rhinestones and more sewing.

Pssssst......hmm I wonder what this is???? :)

YNSC48 Beautiful Borders

Hi Guys,

This week we have an awesome challenge up at the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog.  The wonderful and talented Peggy will be our hostess for this week for YNS# 48 - Beautiful Borders.

For my card I used the Kitty image from the Ellie Loves her Kitty stamp set. I absolutly adore cats (I have three lol), so I wanted to give this Kitty his own card. I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch MOJO202 (yes...yes...I know...I know... I have the Mojo Madness for sure, I love playing along with there sketches. I admit I'm a Mojo Junkie lol).  And of course I added my border with my MFT Medium Scallop Die.

I know I used this similar color combo for my Blog Hop card, but I can not express how much I  love the Orange and Pink Combo.  2 of my Favorite colors. I wanted to expand on it and see how I could use it for other cards. I also used this past weeks SC341 Sketch for this card.

I had so much fun coloring this image. As I colored it I thought of the the sentiment that I added. I created it with my PC and used the brush accent stamp that comes with this set to add that last finishing touch. The Background DP reminded me of painted brush strokes and ended up being so perfect for this image.

This image is SO FUN! How cute is her hair.  It's so wild and free looking. When I first saw this image I was instantly in love with this little cutie. I wanted to do something really 'wild' and fun for her so I picked the bright orange and Pinks. I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch for the layout.. 

I love the pink and orange combo and I hope you guys love it too.

TCP166 - Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone,

I'm excited about today's post. I got to play along with The Cat's Pajamas this week - wooohooo.  It's been a while since I did a random challange and I'm so glad I made time to fit in this challenge.

This weeks inspiration for TCP 166 is the following:

Yummy - cupcakes, frosting, pinks, browns, yellows, candles, balloons, polka dolts.  There are so many choices here!  Here is the card I came up with...

Super fun. I used my A Beary Good Year stamp set for my card. This set just plains rocks.  You can make so many cards with this. With a lil bit of masking you can make PJ hold anything in his hand. 

This card was made for anyone turning 2!

I also used two TCP Cut Ups - Icing and the mini Pennants.

YNSC46 - Button Up! - Your Next Stamp Challenge

Today we have a fun challenge up at Your Next Stamp - BUTTON UP! Buttons are so much fun to play with so we would love for you to join us for our challenge this week. 

Here is the card I created...

I used Fhiona's Pet Bird. This stamp is so versatile and you can really get creative with it.  I also added my buttons of course lol :) 

I used a Skittles that is a Your Next Stamp exclusive item. I love these things. They take dew drops to a whole new level with sparkle! I have been using them on most of my projects lately - they add the perfect extra special touch.
