Here is a card I made tonight for the SCS Try a New Technique Challenge (TLC218). When I saw we had to use marbles to create our own backgrounds I just had to try it. It sounded too fun. When I started the card I realized I didn't have any marbles, but I wasn't going to give up lol. I started searching the house looking...and looking...and looking. Still nothing ....so It finally hit me. I took fondant gum paste (for cakes) and rolled out my own marble shapes and used that :) I knew that stuff would come in handy for something one day lol.
I used a
Dustin Pike image for this. I just couldn't resist this adorable Super Dragon. He's to stinkin cute. I colored him using Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I used superman colors too..red, blue and yellow. I have to say this was SO MUCH fun to make. I got ink dyes all over me, my clothes, my fingers and I think even the cat lol - but it was a blast.
