YNSC55 - Friends!

Hi Guys,

We have a new challenge up at The YNS STAMP challenge blog. This week we are celebrating friendship.  Create a card that has to do with friendship and come join in on all the fun.

I used Super Hero Ellie for my card this week. The perfect card to send to a friend. I made my card really bright this week (maybe too bight? lol). 

Take out the sunglasses this yellow will blind you lol. I have been dying to use this paper for awhile. Sorry about the poor picture quality this week.  Circumstances have me not posting from home so things are a bit off. 

The prize for the winner of this weeks challenge is  Fhiona and Her Best Buddy Fhinn. CUTE CUTE CUTE!!

YNSC53 - Halloween and a Free Digi Stamp!

Hi All,

Today we have a new challenge over at Your Next Stamp.  This weeks hostess is Amy and she has challenged us to create a card using a YNS image and make it Halloween Themed.  

Now in case you do not have a stamp from YNS, you can always use a YNS Digi image.  The best part....Karen will send you a FREE YNS Halloween Digi to make a card with if you would like to participate in this challenge!  Just pick the image of your liking at the YNS Digi Store, and then email Karen and let her know which you would like. How simple is that!

For this weeks challenge I used Cute Kitty. I love love love cats, so I just had to have this cutey. I used this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch for this.

I added lots of bling. Take a close look at his eyes...yes, they are green rhinestones. Black Cats always have shiny green eyes (at least mine does lol).

YNSC52 - Sketch Challenge

Hi Guys,

I'm finally back, I know it's been awhile, but things have been NUTTY to say the least. First, I have been on a mass diet lol....and it's actually going very well. I have been working out EVERY day and on a low calorie diet and I'm about 11 pounds down in 2 and a half weeks...not too shabby. But The worst is I blew up my truck :( I was really hoping when my mechanic took it apart it would be something simple, nope - too easy. I blew the engine and it needs a new one.  It's going to cost me close to 3,000$ to fix (ouch). I had to step back some. I actually was a BEAR hahaha and had to just withdraw, as not to take it out on anyone but me lol!

Enough yap yap (hehehehe) on to the Challenge! We have a new Challenge up at Your Next Stamp and it's a Sketch Challenge - yippeee. Love to be challenged by Sketches. Our Hostess this week is Peggy and our Sketch this week was created by the talented Kerri...

Here is the card I created...

I used the new Wicked Sweet Stamp. I love her! You can do so much with her. She is usually holding a Skull Balloon, but I turned her into Spider Girl lol. I used a super old spider punch that I had laying around. I also added some black and white Twine and a black bottle cap (which I love).  The bottle caps are so fun.  You can create so much inside of them. Her is a close up.

 I darkened these pictures up a bit so you can see the awesome bling I added to everything.

YNSC50 - Song Inspiration

Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited about this weeks challenge over at the YNS Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge is to create a card inspired by a song. How fun is that!!! Make sure you include a youtube link for the song that inspired you. I'm so excited about visiting all the DT's posts to see what everyone has done. I'm also looking forward to what the rest of you have in store for this awesome challenge. Let's have fun rocking out to some music today :) 

This week for my card I used the cute Teacher Fhiona Stamp Set.  I know a lot of us experienced our little ones hustling back to school the past weeks, so I thought it was the perfect time to ink up this stamp.

 

I used Stickles for the letters and added a little Glossy Accents on the apple in her hair band. Too tempting not to bling her out for her first day back at school.

I also had some fun and created an apple with a button. Very simple to do if you don't have an apple button.

I had a blast making this card. The song that I was inspired by is Back to School Again from Grease 2.  I know I'm dating myself here LOL, but I always think about this song when I think about school. I love this little clip from the movie Grease 2 and it brings back some serious giggles.

 

I also wanted to share this photo cuz it was too cute. My Cat Maddie loves when I take pictures of my cards. She always wants to jump up on my table and join in.  This was so cute I just had to share!

She really liked my card and couldn't stop staring at it LOL. I hope you guys like it just as much as Maddie does.

YNSC49 - Tooty Fruity

Today's is a new Challenge at The Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog. 

TOOTY FRUITY lol. Use 'fruit' as inspiration (colors, images, embellishments, patterned papers, etc.)

I used the Yummy Jam Set. My theme is 'Grape' Jam - YUMMOs! 

I added lots of bling :) Rhinestones, Stickles and some Crystal Accents to the Jar and Knife to make them shine.

I love the saying that comes with this set. It is so true! 'Happiness is like jam. You can't spread even a little without getting some on yourself ' here is a close up of all the stickles glittery fun.

YNSC48 Beautiful Borders

For my card I used the Kitty image from the Ellie Loves her Kitty stamp set. I absolutly adore cats (I have three lol), so I wanted to give this Kitty his own card. I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch MOJO202 (yes...yes...I know...I know... I have the Mojo Madness for sure, I love playing along with there sketches. I admit I'm a Mojo Junkie lol).  And of course I added my border with my MFT Medium Scallop Die.

I know I used this similar color combo for my Blog Hop card, but I can not express how much I  love the Orange and Pink Combo.  2 of my Favorite colors. I wanted to expand on it and see how I could use it for other cards. I also used this past weeks SC341 Sketch for this card.

YNSC46 - Button Up! - Your Next Stamp Challenge

Today we have a fun challenge up at Your Next Stamp - BUTTON UP! Buttons are so much fun to play with so we would love for you to join us for our challenge this week. 

Here is the card I created...

I used Fhiona's Pet Bird. This stamp is so versatile and you can really get creative with it.  I also added my buttons of course lol :) 

I used a Skittles that is a Your Next Stamp exclusive item. I love these things. They take dew drops to a whole new level with sparkle! I have been using them on most of my projects lately - they add the perfect extra special touch.

YNSC45 - Your Next Stamp Challenge Day :) !!!

Today is a new challenge up at the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog. Use black and white plus one other color (skin and hair tones do not count!) A fun twist on Black and White. I choose Yellow as my additional color. 

The stamp I ueed is Picnic Ellie who is just adorbale in her cute lil bikini! The background paper I stamped with a Daisy flower stamp from YNS and colored them in with my Copics. I added Yellow Skittles for a little extra sparkle. 

I added a sentiment from my stash that I felt was just perfect for this  (Please note this is not an YNS sentiment)

YNSC43 - Your Next Stamp Challenge!

Today is a fun fun Challenge over at the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog

Also, don't forget about our current YNS May Release Blog Hop

For this challenge we have a sketch from our oh so talented Kerri who is our hostess today. She came up with such an awesome sketch.  

The card I created is using Happy Birthday Mermaid. This set has so many accessory stamps the possibilities are endless! 

Here is the Sketch to follow:

I paired this up with My Cosmo Cricket Salt Air Paper packet.  I have to say I'm in love with this paper pack. The options are incredible, beautiful patterns to work with. 

I framed around my image with Your Next Stamps new Glittered Skittles. I love these things! You can purchase them exclusively at the YNS Store.

 I choose the starfish as my accessory stamp. You guys all know what an 'accessory' junky I am.  This set has EIGHT accessory stamps EKKKS lol. I was biting my nails just choosing one lol.

 I also added this awesome mixed ribbon I had in my stash from my old scarpbooking days. This ribbon must be over 10 years old!! I thought it was just perfect for this card - it reminds me of seaweed :)

YNSC42 - Your Next Stamp Pop It Up Challenge.

There is a new Challenge up today at the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog. Our Hostess this week is Jenny and she has challenged us to Pop it Up! Use foam or pop dots to pop up your image. Jenny is the CAS queen of card making (clean and simple). She always amazes me with her fresh ideas.  This card is for Jenny as I never make CAS cards, and figured I would give it a try! I'm thinking I added too many embellies, but I sure had fun trying lol :)

Today I used several accessory stamps from the Fairy Fhiona Set.  I love using just accessory stamps to create a stand alone card. I figured the concept also worked well with my attempted CAS card.

 

I stamped each image several times and layered them for a pop up look. I also added Rhinestones to give it some extra dimension. I used pop dots and cut smaller pieces to fit my images.

This was such a fun card to make.  Cutting the small pieces out can be a challenge in itself, but it really gives off a beautiful effect.

I topped it all off with some twine and felt grass.  I hope you guys enjoy it.

SC332 - Drinks !

Today I wanted to play along with the SC332 Sketch from SplitCoast.  It seemed like a fun Sketch and I haven't played along with them for a bit - So I tried to break my dry spell with them lol. 

My Mojo wasn't flowing 100% today, but I played along anyway :) Here is the Sketch I followed:

This is the card I created...

My image is from Your Next Stamp, and it's called Shirley Temple Ellie. I mostly can not decide if I love the Ellie stamps more or the Fhiona! I tried to stay away from the Cork, but no can do lol.  A funny story about cork....I have an unfinished hallway that leads to my new scrapbook room and the floor needs to be done still.  I couldn't decide what to put down, and Kelly suggested we do a CORK floor LOL. I looked into it and it seems cork flooring is very 'in' now and very green.  It's prefect HAHAHA and as soon as I can save some extra money up I will be having it installed. I'm addicted to cork!!!

Back to my card (sorry lol)...

I used a sentiment stamp from MFT. I just thought this was the perfectly matched saying for this image :) 

I colored my image in Copics and added some Stickles to the lime.  Gotta love the Stickles!!!
