SC289 - Congrats!

Hi All,

Tonight I'm bringing you the card I created for SC289 over at SCS. I actually struggled with this sketch ...ME? yes me, but I was determined and I'm happy with the final result. The struggle was my first attempt I went off memory and apparently that is not good thing to do HA. I re-tried (looking at the sketch while I was working this time) and it worked out fine. I decided to ink up my Cosmobella. I love coloring in Bellas, but today I went with my Copics. I currently only own about 12 Copic markers, but by the end of month My Birthday Fairy will be giving me a large set. *COUGH - COUGH* hint to my Birthday Fairy lol.

I used small mirrors for the top of the card. I purchased these from Hobby Lobby :) I also used Glitter on my Background DP to step things up for the Party. I didn't glitter all the circles, just a selected few. You can see them better in the closeup below.

Here is the original Sketch I followed from SCS.

The great thing about these sketch is that there is never a deadline, and you can submit yours at any time. I hope to have time in the future to go back over some older sketches that I missed.

Thank you for visiting!!!

It's the Little Things

Here is my second Bella Card. I love the Bella's. I purchased about 15 of them and yesterday I spent the day cutting and mounting them :) I like to trim my Bella's a little more than just leaving them how they come, and I also like to mount them on EZ Mount. It seems easier for me to stamp out with them on the EZ Mount :) Since I purchased it - I have been anxious to use this one.

I actually did this card for BCC71 - Which is The Bella Color challenge on SCS ...

I colored in the stamp using a combination of Prismacolor Pencils/Gamsol and Copics. I figured it would help me transition some to using my Copics more. The light blue outline and shadow she is standing on were done with a Copics BG10. I have seen this shadow method on lots of cards and I really like how it makes the imagie pop!

I used Glossy Acents to highlight the word 'little'.

Supplies Used:

- CS is all by The Paper Studio

- Ink - Memneto Tuxedo Black on the Bella and Memento Grape Jelly on the setiment (Dew Drop ink pads)

- Coloring - Primacolor Pencils/Gamsol and Copics

- Not sure on the Ribbon as I purchased it at a crop in a bargin bin. Tons of ribbon for $2 a pack. This was a piece that was in my bundle.

- Buttons - The Paper Studio (was dying to use this big button when I first saw it)

- Gemstones - Hero Arts

- Flowers - Prima Frosty Flower Glacee

- Thanks for looking!!!
