Birthday Fishes :)

I made this card for a challenge at The Greeting Farm...called DON'T BE SQUARE lol. You had to make a card that was anything but square or rectangular....here is my creation:

I had a blast making this, but I have to say it was REALLY outside of my comfort zone lol. The shell card I sketched in Inkskape and then imported to my Cricut to cut. I used kraft paper for the bottom so it would look like sand. I added orange twine cord to create a shell look. I also colored this pretty Anya with my Copics (also outside my comfort zone since it a first time not using my Prismacolor Pencils). I only own 18 markers so for the limitations I love how it came out. It's hard to see in the photo but her hair and lashes have shimmer, it looks so cute in real life. Here's a close up - maybe you can see:

I used my Nesties to cut the circles and the scallop circle. I also used my cuttlebug to emboss the outer scallep circle which you can see in the close up pic above. I used tiny pearls that I found in my stash for her hair and the sentiment. I hand cut the seweed (my favorite part of the card lol). This is probably the most time I have ever spent on a card. Let me know what you think ...thanks for visiting!
