YNSC52 - Sketch Challenge

Hi Guys,

I'm finally back, I know it's been awhile, but things have been NUTTY to say the least. First, I have been on a mass diet lol....and it's actually going very well. I have been working out EVERY day and on a low calorie diet and I'm about 11 pounds down in 2 and a half weeks...not too shabby. But The worst is I blew up my truck :( I was really hoping when my mechanic took it apart it would be something simple, nope - too easy. I blew the engine and it needs a new one.  It's going to cost me close to 3,000$ to fix (ouch). I had to step back some. I actually was a BEAR hahaha and had to just withdraw, as not to take it out on anyone but me lol!

Enough yap yap (hehehehe) on to the Challenge! We have a new Challenge up at Your Next Stamp and it's a Sketch Challenge - yippeee. Love to be challenged by Sketches. Our Hostess this week is Peggy and our Sketch this week was created by the talented Kerri...

Here is the card I created...

I used the new Wicked Sweet Stamp. I love her! You can do so much with her. She is usually holding a Skull Balloon, but I turned her into Spider Girl lol. I used a super old spider punch that I had laying around. I also added some black and white Twine and a black bottle cap (which I love).  The bottle caps are so fun.  You can create so much inside of them. Her is a close up.

I darkened these pictures up a bit so you can see the awesome bling I added to everything.

If you would like to join us this week please head on over to the Your Next Stamp Challenge area (which has changed).

ATS Wednesday Challenge - Fall

Hi Everyone,

Today I played along with this weeks ATS Wednesday Challenge - FALL :)A little Late

I used Sugar Plums Pumpkin Emma for this. I have been really anxious to use this. It's actually the digital version. I usually prefer the rubber version s of stamps, but sometimes all I can afford is the Digi version LOL.

The papers I used are the Recollections - Night and Fall Paper Stack. This paper pack is the most awesome papers ever. There my new obsession for now :)

I used lots of Stickles on this. The copper worked out perfectly with these papers. I added a rose using my Rose Die from MFT.

Hope you guys like. Thanks for visiting!

TCP TUESDAY 176!

Hi Everyone :)

Today I played along with The Cat's Pajamas 176 Challenge. I have been dying to use my new Take Off Stamp SetHe is so so adorable and is perfect for Paper Piecing.

Here is the Inspiration Colors for this Challenge.

I'm going to attempt to do all of September's TCP Challenges and as many as I can after that point. I purchased so many TCP stamps so inking them up is so much fun. Can you believe when I first started using TCP I didn't like the bunny (*gasps lol).  Now I totally love him. How can you not. Here is my card I created...

I used several elements for this card. First I used the MFT Cloud Trio Die as well as The TCP Flower Button Die. The ribbon is form Really Reasonable ribbon. I added YNS Skittles to the corners. They are dew drops WITH Sparkles - How can you not love that!

I used several Pop up dots and popped him up. The card has awesome dimension. I popped up the clouds and the little exhaust poof as well.

The ribbon is from the new Fall assortment over at Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love the assortments packs - I end up getting ribbons that I would not normally purchase separately. I also belong to the monthly kit club and it's the best decision I have ever made. No mater what type of card I create I always have a matching ribbon. This was not always the case before I joined the Monthly Club.

Thank you so much for stopping in today. Please leave a comment if you can, I really love hearing from you guys!

First up is my Challenge card for this week - Paper Piecing #51.

I used the new release Got Candy? Stamp. Is this not the cutest of all Halloween stamps??? I just adore it! I went with more vintage Halloween colors on this one.  The papers are from Recollections - Night and Fall Paper Stack. These papers are so glittery!  Click the picture below to see it better :)

I added a bunch of Crystal Accents all over - BAM! lol. I added it to the Ghost's eyes, The Witches boots and pumpkin, and the Vampire's Hair and Neck Piece. click the pic below for a close up :)

I also have been (finally) really getting into creating my own Hat Pins :) which was the perfect touch for my Black Seam Binding ribbon from RRR. This is my first Hat Pin and I'm happy with the outcome.

Hope you guys join us for this weeks Challenge!  Visit our Challenge Blog for details.

Next up, is another new release - Wicked Sweet.  This was so fun to color :) How cute is she!? I used K&Company Halloween Stack for this card, but went with more traditional Halloween Colors.

I added lots of Stickles and Rhinestones.  If you click the picture you can get a better look at the bling!

I also added another Hat Pin for this card as well.  It complimented my Black and Dots Ribbon from my Monthly RRR Kit just perfectly.

TCP175 - Sketchy Time

Hi All,

Today I played along with TCP Tuesday again :)  Below is the sketch for this weeks challenge.  When I first saw this sketch I was scared to say the least lol, but once I looked it over I loved it so much I just had to attempt it.

Here is the card that I created for the challenge.

I took advantage of last weeks end of Summer sale that TCP had and I just HAD to have this stamp Set, Wheel Love. I got a bunch of others a well, I had to have them all lol. Now I can start playing along with TCP more often - yipeee. I just adore these stamps.

I stamped this on tan Cardstock and colored it with my Copics. The DP is K&Company Portabello Road Paper Stack. I grabbed this 12x12 stack at Joann's for 6$$!!! Couldn't pass that up.

The Ribbon is from the August RRR Monthly Kit. I love being part of the monthly club. My Ribbon collection is growing finally :) I added a little twine as well.

Thanks for looking!!!
