YNSC41 - Charming!

Today we have an awesome challenge up at Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog. Yippeeeee.

The card I created today is using the oh so adorbale Beach Babe Fhiona stamp from Your Next Stamp.

She is just a little darling thing, and worked perfectly with me new Cosmo Cricket Salt Air Paper packet.  I see myself using this Paper Pack threw out the summer for sure!

Here is the charm I added - A Sand Dollar.  Beaches always remind me of Sand Dollars. When I was kid my Mom would take us to the Beach in New Jersey and we spent our whole week in the water and the sand.  We would always hit the cheesy tourist gift shops, and I always bought Sand Dollars. I actually have quite a collection from my childhood days.  Now, I can not think of the Beach without thinking of a Sand Dollar.

I colored my image with copics and used a few different dies: MFT Flat Bottom Clouds, MFT Jumbo Scallop and TCP's Wave Cut-up Die. The sun I created using plain and scalloped circle Nestabilities.

I also used some Cork Paper and Felt (two new obsessions that are starting to really show lol) and some lovely Twine for accent.

Just a Reminder.....Karen is now offering a Weekly Sale. Yes, you heard that right WEEKLY SALES. We will be having a weekly special where every Sunday a new stamp will be posted in the weekly special section. This stamp or stamp set will be offered at a special price PLUS there is no shipping charges!!! This offer will be available all week or while quantities last, and all the details are available on the YNS website.

Thanks for visiting and make sure you check out all the other DT's cards as well for the challenge!

SFC95 - Squigglefly Black and White Callenge

Today is a new challenge over at Squigglefly. The Challenge is to use Black and White! Click HERE for all the Deets.

The card I created uses the Divine Bovine Bath Digi Image over at Squigglefly. I never created a B&W so I was really looking forward to this one.

My favorite part of this card is the cow DP for the background - it's actually glossy and so yummy.  I angled my picture so you can see the shiny texture.

I used Stickles to fancy up my bubbles in the tub! Check out that glitter :)

I also added this awesome White Checkerboard Stain Ribbon form Really Reasonable Ribbon that is brand new and I totally adore!!

Finally I used the Button Flower die for TCP for an added accent with some bakers twine and a button.

I also wanted to mention we have a TON of new artists at Squigglefly now. The newest member is Charlotte Jones. Her digi drawings are amazing and ADORABLE!!!

Thank so much for visiting and I can't wait to see what you all do with this.

April release for Your Next Stamp!

Today is the April Release over at Your Next Stamp. Totally Exciting!!! Head on over and check out all the fabulous new stamps as well as of the Design Teams Eye Candy for this months release.

For today, I created a seed pack holder using the NEW 'Let Your Garden Grow' stamp that is being released today and is now available at the YNS Store

This new stamp set is perfect for a seed packet holder and so welcome for Spring time. It holds 3 seed packets perfectly.

I found this awesome tutorial HERE. It was so simple an easy to follow.  This seed holder took me just minutes to create.

I colored my image using Copics.

I used The Rolled Rose Die-namics from MFT, which is fast becoming my favorite of all dies, and used Felt to create my Rose.  I really enjoy when I get to use it.

I also used the new TCP Grass die as well with some more felt for my grass.  Okay, maybe this die is my favorite LOL.  I just can't decide ha! I can tell you that felt is becoming my new obsession. I just love the dimension that it adds.

The sentiment is also from the YNS 'Let Your Garden Grow' set, and it's so cute and perfect.  This is now my favorite YNS stamp set to date. I love to garden and so does my Mom. I'm going to ship this off to her soon, and I know she will just adore it as much as I do.

SC327 - Eggstra Special and

Hi Everyone!

First there is a new challenge up at YNS Challenge Blog.  So check it out if you can :)

Second  I wanted to show you all a card I created using the new Easter Bunny Fhiona from Your Next Stamp. She is so super cute. I used this weeks SC327 Sketch for my card.

Here is the Sketch!

Here is the card I created:

I used this super gorgeous paper from Provo Crafts Collage Pad - Silvers and Golds. It has shimmer on all the silver parts and I LOVE LOVE it!  If you look on the top right corner of the card you can see the shimmer. YUMMY!!

My Main image was colored with Copics and I added Stickles to the ear and some of the neck bow areas.

The ribbon is from my stash and was part of a scrap bag that I picked up at a local crop last year. I love this ribbon and was so happy to finally be able to use it up.

The sentiment is from Fhiona's Easter Basket Set from Your Next Stamp.

Thanks for visiting!
